Description:

Fasbact 200mg Tablets contain Ofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against a wide range of aerobic gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, sexually transmitted infections, and gastrointestinal infections including infectious diarrhea.

Dosage & Administration:

• Do not take with dairy products or antacids containing magnesium/aluminum within 2 hours.

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve earlier.

• Dosage adjustment may be required in renal impairment.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones.

• Avoid in patients with a history of tendon disorders associated with fluoroquinolone use.

• Use with caution in elderly patients or those with CNS disorders (risk of seizures).

• May cause photosensitivity; avoid excessive sun exposure.

• Not recommended during pregnancy, lactation, or in children unless absolutely necessary.
