Description:

Fascip 250mg Capsules contain Ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic with potent activity against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), gastrointestinal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections. Ciprofloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for bacterial DNA replication.

• Not recommended in children or adolescents unless absolutely indicated.

• May cause tendonitis or tendon rupture, particularly in elderly or corticosteroid users.

• Use with caution in patients with CNS disorders (risk of seizures).

• Avoid excessive sunlight or UV exposure due to photosensitivity risk.

• Not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
