Description:
Fastrixone 500mg Injection contains Ceftriaxone, a broad-spectrum third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with excellent bactericidal activity. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and is effective against a wide variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. It is used to treat infections such as lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, meningitis, septicemia, and is also used in surgical prophylaxis.

Dosage & Administration:

Precautions:

Contraindicated in patients with known allergy to cephalosporins or penicillins.

Use cautiously in patients with renal insufficiency or hepatic dysfunction.

Monitor for signs of Clostridium difficile–associated diarrhea during prolonged therapy.

Avoid in neonates with jaundice or receiving calcium-containing IV solutions.
