Description:

 

Fasxime 200mg Suspension contains Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with broad-spectrum bactericidal activity. It is highly effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens, including β-lactamase-producing organisms. This formulation is intended for pediatric use in the treatment of respiratory tract infections, otitis media, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and urinary tract infections.

  • Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.


Precautions:

 

  • Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.

  • Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.

  • Discontinue use if significant gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g., persistent diarrhea) occur.

  • Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.

  • Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, and mild abdominal discomfort.


Storage:

 

  • Store dry powder below 25 °C in a dry place.

  • After reconstitution, keep refrigerated (2–8 °C).

  • Do not freeze.

  • Discard any unused portion after 7 days.
