Levotar 250mg Tablets contain Levofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes critical for DNA replication and cell division. This makes Levofloxacin particularly effective in the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and gastrointestinal infections.
