Description:

Lyon 5mg Tablets contain Desloratadine, a long-acting, non-sedating antihistamine used for the relief of allergy symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) and chronic idiopathic urticaria. Desloratadine is the active metabolite of loratadine and works by selectively blocking peripheral histamine H₁-receptors, thereby preventing the effects of histamine without crossing the blood-brain barrier—minimizing drowsiness.

  • Non-sedating, once-daily antihistamine.

  • Rapid onset and long duration of action (up to 24 hours).

  • Effective in treating nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy/watery eyes, and skin rashes.

  • Suitable for long-term use in allergic conditions.
