Description:
Maximus 250mg Injection contains Ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with broad-spectrum bactericidal activity. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Ceftriaxone works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and is widely used in the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, intra-abdominal infections, septicemia, meningitis, and surgical prophylaxis.

Dosage & Administration:

IV: Dissolve in 5 mL of sterile water; administer slowly over 2–4 minutes.

Precautions:

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
