Description:

 

Fastrixone 250mg Injection contains Ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, including beta-lactamase producing strains. It is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, septicemia, meningitis, and surgical prophylaxis.

Precautions:

  • Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.

  • Monitor for signs of superinfection with prolonged use.

  • May cause local pain at injection site, diarrhea, rash, or transient liver enzyme elevations.

  • Not recommended for neonates with hyperbilirubinemia.
