Description:

L-Zine 5mg Tablets contain Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride, the active R-enantiomer of cetirizine, a second-generation non-sedating antihistamine. It is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) and chronic idiopathic urticaria. Levocetirizine works by selectively inhibiting peripheral H₁-receptors, reducing histamine-mediated allergic responses with minimal central nervous system penetration.

Key Features:

  • Fast-acting and long-lasting allergy relief.

  • Non-sedating in most patients.

  • Effective against nasal and ocular allergy symptoms.

  • Also used for skin allergies such as chronic hives.

  • Improved tolerability compared to older antihistamines.
