Description:

Lansogen 30mg Capsules contain Lansoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce gastric acid secretion. It is highly effective in treating conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Lansoprazole works by irreversibly inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, thereby suppressing acid production.

Dosage & Administration:

  • H. pylori eradication (with antibiotics): as per regimen

• Capsule should be swallowed whole. Do not crush or chew.

• Use only as directed by a physician.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Lansoprazole or other PPIs.

• Long-term use may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency or hypomagnesemia.

• Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment.

• May increase risk of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea.
