Description:

 

Leveret 500mg Tablets contain Levetiracetam, a broad-spectrum antiepileptic drug (AED) used as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy in the management of various types of seizures, including partial-onset seizures, myoclonic seizures, and generalized tonic-clonic seizures. Levetiracetam exerts its effect by binding to synaptic vesicle protein SV2A, modulating neurotransmitter release, and stabilizing neuronal excitability.

Dosage & Administration:

  • Do not discontinue abruptly—taper gradually under medical supervision.

  • Always follow physician’s instructions.


Precautions:

 

  • Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Levetiracetam.

  • Dose adjustment required in patients with renal impairment.

  • Monitor for mood disturbances, behavioral changes, or signs of depression.

  • Common side effects may include dizziness, fatigue, somnolence, and headache.

  • Use with caution in pregnancy and only if clearly needed.
